Connectors

connectors allow the solution to connect to external solutions the connectors are each their own microservice and leverage the l4i api interfaces to allow connection details and methods to be described to the core solution adding a connector select the 'connectors' tab, then click the '+' button enter the url to the connector endpoint using https and providing the port in default installations localhost or loopback addresses can be used in advanced configurations where connectors are deployed on remote servers, the remote machine address/name should be used https //127 0 0 1 42420 https //localhost 42420 https //\<remoteconnectorserver> 42420 note that 127 0 0 1 is a loopback ip4 address the same as using localhost this indicates the connector is running on the same machine as the l4i core services the default ports for the connectors assigned in the d4i configuration are listed in the table below trex utilities 42420 filesystem 42421 ibm filenet p8 content engine 42422 apache tika 42423 ibm watson cloud services 42424 elasticsearch 42425 ibm filenet p8 process engine 42426 box cloud content management 42427 ibm content manager cm8 42429 ibm forms server 42430 microsoft sharepoint 42431 generic web services 42432
