Connectors

3min

Connectors allow the solution to connect to external solutions. The connectors are each their own microservice and leverage the L4i API interfaces to allow connection details and methods to be described to the core solution.

Adding a Connector

Select the 'Connectors' tab, then click the '+' button

Enter the URL to the connector endpoint using HTTPS and providing the port

In default installations localhost or loopback addresses can be used. In advanced configurations where connectors are deployed on remote servers, the remote machine address/name should be used:

https://127.0.0.1:42420
https://localhost:42420
https://<remoteconnectorserver>:42420

Note: that 127.0.0.1 is a loopback ip4 address - the same as using localhost. This indicates the connector is running on the same machine as the L4i core services.
