The core engine of the solutions is known as the Transformation Engine. The transformation engine provides for the run time execution of transformations. As connectors are added to the solution, their defined methods are communicated to for use in the Transformation engine.
Adding a Transformation Engine
To add the main Transformation Engine to L4i, select the 'Engines' tab on the right, then click on the '+' button
Fill in the URL using HTTPS protocol to the Transformation Engine service. By default this will be on the local machine on port 42002.
For example: https://localhost:42002
Click on the 'Test' button and after a successful connection, the Engine Details will be shown.

Multipe Engine instances can be created for high volume distribution of work. However, additional hardware may be required depending on the volume and type of work being performed.
