The Link Enterprise middleware component can be deployed on-premise, in a private cloud or as a SaaS solution from Gimmal. 
When deploying on premise or in a private cloud environment, physical or virtual hardware is supported. The following server resources are recommended:

Java Runtime Environment
 Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, 
Windows Server 2022
Minimum 4 cores or 4 physical CPUs with at least 2.0Ghz
40 GB
16 GB
OpenJDK 17 LTS or later
JCO requirements: 3.0.14 and above
(3.1.x and above requires Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013)
