Customer Resources Required

Customer resources typically required for a Gimmal Link Enterprise installation and implementation are: 

  • SAP Basis: install SAP transports, support base configuration, and QUAL, PROD migration (see below Overview for SAP Basis)
  • SAP Security: create SAP user (Gimmal Link ECM) and grant necessary ArchiveLink and Gimmal Link Enterprise authorizations (see below Overview for SAP security)
  • SAP Developer: if Gimmal Link Enterprise integration patters are to be extended or customized, an ABAP developer (customer or Gimmal) will be required along with corresponding developer key and SAP transports (see separate Gimmal Link Enterprise Solution Guide)
  • SharePoint Admin: support installation of Gimmal Link Enterprise middleware and SharePoint configuration
  • Middleware Server/Network/Security Team: support installation of Gimmal Link Enterprise Connector
  • Business/SAP End-User/Tester: support unit and user acceptance testing.
