Enabling Store New and Assign / Attachment List Menu Path
For all Store New and Assign (ie: Business Document Storage), or to use the Gimmal Link Enterprise Attachment List for any other purposes, you must add the DocManager menu path to the Services for Object / Global Object Services configuration table via the instructions below:
- Maintain the table SGOSATTR via SM30 in your development configuration client. Note that this configruation is client independent, but will generate a transport to must be moved with other ArchiveLink and Gimmal Link configuration.
- Find the entry with the name INFO_SERVICE and double click to change the entry.
- Change the field value for "Next Service" to GIMMALSTOR as shown below. Save your entry and green arrow back.
4. Click the button "New Entries" and create the following entry named "GIMMALSTOR":
- ensure the class name /DFLOW/CL_DOCMANAGER is spelled correctly and that the "Commit Required" is enabled!
5. You must then find a menu item to link it too. The most common entry is the INFOSERVICE, but it is recommended that you choose the "last" entry in your systems SFO menu list (add as the "Next Service"):
6. Save your entry and include this transport in your migration to QUAL and PROD list of transports.
