Anonymous Shared URL Configuration

to configure shared url's in sharepoint, we have the following options to enable sharing url with anyone (using expiry time) the following steps are required to do so enter the browser the following url and hit enter https //\<insert your tenant sub domain> sharepoint com/ layouts/15/online/adminhome aspx#/home under active sites, select the site we want to modify the sharing url permissions under the tab "settings" click on the link "more sharing settings" select the following options in the provided screenshot to change the default expiry timing of shared url's on the left side navigation panel under 'policies' select 'sharing' below, you will see the default number of days you can set the expiry time to (you can override this in the middleware) to shorten the default expiry time and override the default tenant level, we can do so via the middleware enter the number of seconds in the highlighted field in the screenshot and hit save restart the gimmal link service via windows services after saving to visit this url, enter https //localhost 82 default user admin default password admin
