Uninstalling the Enterprise Connector
1min
- In order to uninstall the Enterprise Connector we recommend that you first stop the Windows service by either using the “Administrative Tools” “Services” option under the “Control Panel” or by using the “Gimmal Link Enterprise Service” configuration found in the Gimmal program group.
- Once the service has been stopped you will need to uninstall the service by running the “uninstallService.bat” script found in the “service” directory found under the installation folder. Verify that the service was truly removed from the list of services. If for some reason the service isn’t removed you can run “SC DELETE Gimmal Link” from a DOS command prompt window”
- Once the service has been removed you can run the uninstaller found in the “Uninstaller” directory under the installation folder. Double clicking on the uninstaller.jar file will then walk you through uninstalling the Gimmal Link Enterprise Connector.
Note: The uninstaller may not be able to delete some of the files and folders that were created so additional cleanup may have to be done manually for the installation location. If you have any problems uninstalling the Gimmal Link Enterprise Connector please don’t hesitate to speak to your system administrator or a Gimmal support team member.
