Link Enterprise for S3
Installation and Base Configur...
Installing the SAP Transports – ECM Only
2min
The following steps outline how to install Link Enterprise ECM Flow within SAP. Installing the Enterprise Connector (Link Enterprise middleware component) and configuring the Link Enterprise base connectivity is covered in other sections.
1. Obtain the latest Link Enterprise transports from a Gimmal representative. The transports provided will be determined by the Link Enterprise Content API base plus add-ones licensed.
2. Import the Link Enterprise transports into the target SAP system.
- The Gimmal Link Enterprise product resides entirely in its own namespace (/DFLOW)
- These transports should be imported with all import options enabled:
3. This is a good time to enjoy a hot beverage of your choice while the import is running.
4. Confirm that the transports were imported into the SAP system without any issues
- Note: Warnings will occur, for example regarding domains over 255 characters among others. Errors (return code 8) should not occur. If they do, stop further import of additional transports and contact your Gimmal Link implementer.
